Publishing has an incredibly constructive effect.

Feedback is undervalued

This is the more obvious part. I think feedback is still under appreciated. There is a tremendous gain from getting feedback from people. Feedback is a way counteracting Creator’s bias 🎨 and other Cognitive Biases

Automatic imagined feedback

Second part is about an internal process. Sometimes I am discovering strong insights even before I get any feedback from people. I think there is some automatic thought process firing up that is rendering what other people seeing authors work. This may (C 60%) work this way because we are very social animals and our mind starts to work intensely on how this may be viewed by others. This has surprisingly strong effects even if sending to a few people. Perhaps a brain just fired this algorithm and it doesn’t matter if you send to 3, 30 or 3000 people.
