It’s not optimal that all written texts present content in the expanded form by default. We consume content from interactive screens and it would be possible to reverse this approach.
Dig text lays out texts in its most collapsed form by default, enabling readers to expand the parts they find valuable or interesting.
I think it would makes the most sense to develop this project as an open source addition to the markdown system. There could be a keyword that collapses the text for eg.: “>>” for collapse “<<” for end of collapse.

This approach requires a different approach to writing, as both the shortest and longest forms of the text need to make sense. I have rewritten a couple of essays this way, and it is not very complex to do so. Perhaps this work could be exported to LLMs.
